Romain found this hidden seafood spot in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) in Vietnam. And it was absolutely fantastic. More street food videos are coming soon until the end of our time in Asia.
Eating street food in Vietnam is probably the cheapest way how to fill up our stomachs. But this time Romain tried seafood. It wasn’t cheap but also not expensive for what he got.

Finally the first food video from Vietnam. And noo it's not about street food but seafood. Romain absolutely loves seafood and I was pretty sick so I didn't attend this video. As you can see Romain was really grateful for this day because he really enjoyed all the dishes that he ate.
Did you already try seafood in Vietnam? What were your thoughts about it?
Look so good
It's a ripoff. If you order seafood the stores / shops vary wildly. You can spend 40 bucks and still not be full.
Heey really enjoyed your vid do you also have a address for me or the name?
The "vinegar" sauce is actually fish sauce. You are supposed to squeeze the lime into the salt and chili. The bowl is for your meal, not your emptied shells… just throw them on the ground. The baguette is for you to wipe you asss with. Just kidding about the latter.
Did they really say "Tooth Ink" on the menu?
All that for $13, I spend that much on lunch everyday
The cheese on top of that scallop was most likely fromage Lavache Qui Rit. The most celebrated fromage in VN. This brand is quite prominent in Coles/Woolies (Aussies' equivalents to the US Walmart) in Viet diasporas. In Vietnamese vocabulary, Phô Mai = Cheese. While most if not all residue of hatre for the colonist past was diminished, the fondness of French taste enhanced. In Viets' diasporas around the globe, the immigrant Vietnamiens prefer Hennessy or Martell cognacs over Whisky even in the US. We were treated a Martell Cordon Bleu while attending a wedding reception yesterday in Sydney. This supprised me, for the wedding couple ages under 30 & Aussie born & bred & France never colonised Australia. Many bourgoise Cafe, in HCM.c still drop a tiny pinch of beurre Bretel dans tasse de petit noir. I'm a Saigon bonrn to the parents Hanoiens. Hugo, Dumas, Daudet, Balzac, … were parts of the diets I was fed in my early teen, these goût exquis still lingering to my Sydney day.
Wow, I need that kind of vitamins.
Yum!!! Great video!
Chào cháu
Thanks for this ´hidden´ restaurant. We will visit it in January 2020 https://www.google.dk/maps/place/Qu%C3%A1n+%E1%BB%90c+%C4%90%C3%A0o/@10.7649162,106.6828126,1147m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m12!1m6!3m5!1s0x31752f19091f0349:0xfa6f412f2223a323!2zUXXDoW4g4buQYyDEkMOgbw!8m2!3d10.7649162!4d106.6850013!3m4!1s0x31752f19091f0349:0xfa6f412f2223a323!8m2!3d10.7649162!4d106.6850013

luv u guys u both are amazing…
That's cheap. In U.S., each dish costs $10-$12
Those dishes + Beer = explosion! Next time whenever you have seafood in Vietnam, make sure to have it with local beer!. Thanks for sharing nice clip.
The charm of food cannot be rejected, and food has no borders! Thanks for sharing
Nice seafood selections. I didn't try any seafood while I was in Vietnam, I guess I should've. Hope Krystina feel better soon
Wow! I was salivating like a dog. Get well Kristyna.
Hope you are feeling better, Krystina. A food vid without you, not right! As a life long veggie watching Romain eating various animals is a weird 10 minutes. But good for you for jumping into the massive food vlog scene. “Pure happiness happening in my mouth right now”, now there’s a food quote. By the way, stay away from Hanoi right now. You know why.
Ok I will tell you what you should not eat: banh trang tron, and Vietnamese pizza. They are the new age street foods that are very popular with the younger people nowadays, but they taste terrible. You have been warned !
Hard work eating all that food, but someone had to do it. Well done Romain. I am sure we all missed Kristyna … <3
Guys – guess who is walking by in the video of Gabriel Traveler,….:-)

I love the way you follow your tastebuds. What you ate looked really appetizing. And for the price you paid for that meal was quite reasonable. I appreciate your little out of the way travel tips. Good job on another interesting video. 👍🏾🥗🍻
