In this video I take a look at the crazy performance gains to rendering using Arnold thanks to the Acer ConceptD 7, an NVIDIA Studio branded laptop. I render a couple of different scenes and compare the render times to my own PC to see how the RTX accelerated rendering, assisted by the AI Denoiser can improve render times drastically, whilst still delivering amazing quality.

Not really a valid comparison/demonstration at all imho. These quick render + aggressive denoise images usually look terrible, washed out, destroyed detail and textures, mostly unacceptable for a even bit higher standard for final results… which you can't see in a compressed low res video.

Hey man, thanks for your work, I managed to complete the 4 hour tutorial you did on the game level design, I am working on the water one now and the compiling of the shaders has taken way way too long, over 15 minutes pressing apply in blueprints :-/, for the previous tutorial when I built lighting only during that step, it took my laptop over 4 hours . It's crazy… I'm not sure I will remember everything from it but over time I hope to get better.
Are you going to do more unreal game development courses? I intend to go through your other 4 hour game tutorial that you made too hopefully in the next few days….(one my laptop finishes compiling :-/ )
